Kenichi Zenimura was the Dean of the Diamond and the father of Japanese American baseball. Everywhere Zeni went he built a baseball diamond. He captained the Jaynes and Sons integrated twilight league team and competed with hall of famers Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Tony Lazzeri, Lefty O'Doul, Joe DiMaggio and a slew of major leaguers.
