The 1904 KDC (Kanagawa Doshi Club). Bottom row, fourth from left, Frank Shoei Tsuyuki. This was one of the first Issei (Japanese immigrants) teams. Kanagawa was the prefecture they were from in Japan, doshi, meaning "together". They would compete with the Fuji Athletic Club and integrated teams at Ewing Field and in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
